About these Webinars:
The health consequences of the climate crisis are widespread, and as they become more manifest, healthcare professionals need to be aware of these impacts and how their patients may be affected. The purpose of this CME webinar series, “COVID-19, Climate, Equity”, is to provide the much-needed education that healthcare professionals are asking for, to help them better treat their patients and their community.
This CME webinar series will discuss environmental concerns that have a critical health component, including air quality and heat, and the impact they have on patients. In addition, we will focus on specific vulnerable populations – communities of color, pregnant women, and those with mental health concerns. The discussions will also include input from experts on the latest research, advice on patient outreach and communication, and current legislation that is being considered.
