March 23 Webinar – The Psychology of Climate Change as a Force for Good (Destination CleanMed Series)

The Psychology of Climate Change as a Force for Good (Destination CleanMed Series)

March 23, 2023 | Virtual | 12:00 PM ET

Check out the Destination CleanMed webinar series — free virtual discussions to build momentum leading up to CleanMed in Pittsburgh with sessions about breaking down IRA funds and the HHS pledge, an introduction to ESG, and a physician-led session about the mental health impact of climate change on health care workers. Each webinar will be recorded and posted soon after the live event.

The mental health impacts of climate change are profoundly felt by those working in health care and beyond. People living in historically underserved communities and people of color feel the effects exponentially and have been leading the environmental justice movement for decades. Pittsburgh, CleanMed 2023’s host city, is no exception.

Join us to hear from two University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) doctors who are exploring the mental health impacts of climate change on health care workers and how practices that underpin sustainability can help sustain individuals, drive change, and build hope in communities. The webinar will feature a 15-minute Q&A.
