ALA letter to Congress asks for investments in climate and health solutions

The American Lung Association (ALA) has sent a letter to Congress asking that investments in infrastructure prioritize climate change measures to meet the urgency of this moment, by achieving a 50% reduction in U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Investing in infrastructure is an opportunity to protect health from climate change. The letter is signed by over 50 Health Organizations, including the Medical Society Consortium on Climate & Health.
