Thursday, September 29, 2022 | Virtual | 6:30 PM EDT

Sign up for the September 2022 climate and health journal club, hosted by the Health Care Without Harm Physician Network and Medical Students for a Sustainable Future, on September 29, 6:30 pm EDT.

The propellants used in metered dose inhalers (MDIs) are potent greenhouse gases with a global warming potential thousands of times greater than carbon dioxide. Transitioning away from MDIs containing propellants is a necessary step in achieving net-zero health care emissions. Learn more in this Annals of the American Thoracic Society viewpoint. This month’s journal club will be led by Drs. Gregg Furie and Alex Rabin, who will discuss two articles on the climate impacts of inhalers.

Zoom information will be sent the week before the session.
