Toward a Framework for Policy, Equity, and Action
(Moderator: Mona Sarfaty, MD MPH FAAFP)
• Karl Hausker, PhD MPP, is an expert on energy policy from the World Resources Institute.
• Cliff Majersik, BA, is the CEO of the Institute for Market Transformation and a participant in the New Consensus Coalition to define the Green New Deal. He is an expert on energy efficiency.
• Andrew McKeon, MS MBA, is the Director of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative in the U.S. northeastern states. He will talk about the ten years of experience with the RGGI and current effort to add transportation as a component of the RGGI.
• Lyndsay Alexander is Director of the Healthy Air Campaign of the American Lung Association. She will speak about clean air policy as climate policy and the importance of EPA action.
• Clara Vondrich is the Director of Divest Invest. She will discuss the campaign, which calls on investors to accelerate the clean energy transition by moving their money from the past to the future.
