Coalition Letter to President Biden: Addressing the Climate Crisis’ Domestic Impacts on Maternal and Infant Health Outcomes

A coalition of human rights, reproductive rights, reproductive justice, environmental justice, maternal and child health, health care professionals, medical societies, and other advocates organizations – including The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health – have signed an open letter to President Biden. The letter encourages President Biden to take concrete action to ensure that the country’s maternal health crisis, dominated by racial inequities, is a central focus of US domestic climate policy.
